About David L. Hasslinger
Almost 50 years ago, David L. Hasslinger discovered His passion for working with glass. His journey began unexpectedly during his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, where he happened upon the Glass shop. This discovery led him to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
Early in his career, David's glass creations were exhibited in galleries and exhibitions around the world, reflecting his skill and unique approach to the medium. His work showcased the beauty and versatility of glass, exploring new techniques and styles.
Thirty-five years ago, David married Carol and became the father of three children: Christopher, Nicole, and Alex. During this time, he focused on his family, which he considers his greatest achievement. With his children now grown, David has returned to the studio, reconnecting with his craft. Rediscovering the language of his hands. He continues to explore glassworking, bringing to his work the experiences and wisdom gained over the years.

We are actively involved in the Blackstone River Glass Center—a dynamic space dedicated to the education and celebration of glass arts.
